With over 4000 miles of trails and over 40,000 miles of wooded two-tracks, forest roads and designated public roads – the Six Days of Michigan is the best opportunity to experience off-road riding at it’s finest! It’s nearly a week of prime single track, scenic dual sport routes and unparalleled fellowship with some of the coolest people you’ll ever meet! We like to say it’s the most fun you can have on a motorcycle. Registrations are limited, so don’t put it off another season! Come out and ride the best – the Six Days of Michigan!

Keeping it Legal

What equipment do you need to ride the Six Days of Michigan?

  • A properly licensed motorcycle, street legal for operation on public roadways in your home State or Province
  • Properly placed MI ORV License & ORV Trail Permits (stickers) USD $36.25 total, available at sign-up)
  • Current bike insurance
  • USFS approved spark arrestor
  • DOT approved tires

The Cycle Conservation Club of Michigan recommends the following, regardless of requirements of your home State or Province:

  • Working headlight/tail light/brake light
  • Mirror (We suggest a flip-up. If you run just one mirror, it must be on the left side).
  • Working horn

Camping

For 2025, the CCC will be collecting camping fees along with registration. You will be able to pay for camping through our online store or at check-in when you arrive. Watch for more details on costs for each campground shortly.

Most venues we stage from can accommodate a wide variety of campers ranging from pup tents to luxury motor homes. Hook-ups for water and electric power are normally part of the package. We cannot guarantee however, that those services will be available in every case. Please plan ahead and bring a small (quiet) generator if you need power.

Campfires and pets are usually permitted but could vary depending on the campground. We’ll do our best to advise in advance. Please note that campfire policies are often influenced by surrounding forest conditions at the time.

Many Six Days participants find camping is preferred but motels or Air BNB accommodations may be available nearby our staging areas.

Meal Plans

Meal plans are a popular option for many Six Days participants because let’s face it – a lot of us are just better riders than meal planners. You either starve or end up with too many coolers to carry. Our Six Days meal plan is essentially a catered breakfast and dinner service. You can do one meal on one day or both sittings every day – it’s completely up to you. There is no lunch option because you’ll be out on the trail or dual sport route where there are typically a number of fine dining establishments to choose from. Shell, Sunoco and Marathon are perennial crowd favorites. Meal plans are available for purchase at registration.

Please see the 2024 Menu for the week below as a guideline for what to expect. Due to changes in supply and catering arrangements, the 2025 menu will not be confirmed until the week of the event. Prices will reflect available options as time draws nearer.

Wednesday Night Potluck & Charity Auction

On Wednesday night, The Cycle Conservation Club of Michigan’s Board of Governors hosts a potluck dinner. The main dish will be provided by the CCC. You are welcome to bring a dish to share!

Following dinner, we conduct our annual Charity Auction. All proceeds from the auction go directly to the Kenneth M. Daugherty Memorial Scholarship Fund. A $3500 scholarship is awarded to eligible CCC family members in good standing to help with the expense of higher education. See the KMD Memorial Scholarship page on this site for more information.

Maps/Routes

All of our Trail Option routes will be marked with paper arrows in the woods. You will be able to follow these without any other assistance. Dual Sport routes will be available as .gpx files to download on your GPS units or you may scan the barcode for OnX maps after each morning’s riders’ meeting and follow the route on your phone or other navigation device. We will also be offering paper maps for each day’s Trail and Dual Sport options. GPX files for download on your GPS units and an easy to follow route through our club mapping partner OnX Offroad.
